I have decided that I will also start to post some pictures that I have taken on my adventures through life thus far. Some of the pictures may have a little commentary to them depending if there is a story that goes with them or if I have something silly to say.
I tend to take a lot of photos so I will try and limit my posts to 10 pictures, may be less, but that will be the max I post. Anyways to start this venture off I have decided to use photos that I took while on a hike with my beautiful wife back in August.
Why post them so late you ask? That's when I was able to get around to it, some other sets I post in the future might be older or might not. Well without further ado let's get to the photos.

I do love the look of running water in a still picture. I also just really enjoyed the different angles that have been grooved into this particular rock.

Group Portrait Assignment
Today's outing was done in groups of five. Nothing like grouping people together and sending them off to do an assignment on their own. For my photo I lead the group all over West Campus, luckily they are a great group and were willing to comply with my demands. (I did ask if they were okay with walking to the Center for the Arts building, so I'm not a complete dick) Anyways since being a fat guy, of course I'm a fan of soda. I thought it would fun to get a picture them pretending to attack a soda machine. It was fun watching them go at the machine and give great face expressions with smiles or frowns. Sorry for the ranting, just thought I would you in on what happened. Enjoy the photo, if you can.

Action Shot Assignment
It was a windy day out shooting the men's golf team for Pima, I was in my typical t-shirt and shorts. The guys kept asking me if I was cold, but my fatness sufficed. Anyways I figured I might as well use this photo for my assignment. Nikko Grau, is red shirting this season but hopes to be a contributing factor next season. They have to deal with my crappy photo taking ability, but what other options do they have.

Depth of Field Assignment
Well after Cynthia showed us some flowers, Kyle, Chelo and I decided to move on. We began to hike towards Anklam. Kyle and I began to walk into the desert, while Chelo ditched us to do her own thing. I began to think about getting attacked by a snake when I stumbled upon this cactus. Snapped a couple of shots and hiked back to class. Here is one of the photos I was able to grab.

Assignment 3 "Gathering Caption Info"
This would be sophomore student Erica Lopez. She is majoring in Criminal Justice and she is not sure exactly what career direction she will go in with her degree.
"I don't know, it's something to start with and see wherever it takes me," Lopez said about why she chose criminal justice as a major.
Lopez does enjoy enjoy watching shows like CSI and Law and Order, so maybe that is where her interest came from.
Hopefully she won't be too upset about my crappy photo.

Assignment 2
So for this assignment we had to go out and use lines, as well as a subject. The person that my experiments ran haywire on is Matt Frey. It took all the luck in the world and my lack of skills to come up with a couple of photos. Frey was a willing test subject, so it was easier to come up with things in that aspect. My photos were taken over by the Center for the Arts and I believe the Tucson building at West Campus. Anyways enough of my blabbering, here are the photos.

Assignment 1
So as I was wandering Pima's West Campus with Kyle and Chelo, I happened to luckily be standing at this angle and thought well, maybe this will work. I think I stole the angle from Chelo, oh well...ha ha I am victorious. Maybe that's why they ditched me later on. Anyways, nothing like watching students play around with their phone, its not a hard circumstance to find, but oh well.
